Privacy is very important to us. Below you will find our privacy policy, which is fully in line with the new European regulation (2016/679) The EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We protect your privacy and treat the information you provide confidentially. In addition to GDPR, we also follow the ESOMAR ( industry practices as well as other laws and regulations on the protection of personal data. This privacy policy applies to people all over the world. The information you provide is used only for research purposes.

We will not disclose your personal information to third parties without your permission. We will not try to sell something to you, and we will never sell your personal information to anyone. We are a market research company and is only interested in your opinions and behaviors. Your decision to participate in a study, answer specific questions or to cancel participation is respected without questions.

Your privacy is important to us

Opinion and market research is an important function in society. Surveys make it possible for enterprises and government organizations to make better decisions. Your opinions help companies develop new products, make existing products better and to improve the customer experience. Political organizations and agencies are also dependent on surveys to be in line with the public’s wishes and needs. When you participate in a survey carried out by JEM Analytics, you can be assured that we will protect your personal privacy. We may contact you to confirm your answers. The information we collect

In web surveys, it is clear and evident in invitations, who stands as the head of the investigation (our client) and JEM Analytics role and responsibility in connection with the collection and management of data. In most cases, JEM Analytics customers are controllers and JEM Analytics will only process your personal data as a data processor, at the request of a controller. When we contact you, it is usually for one of the following reasons:

  • To invite you to a survey.
  • To do an interview with you in connection with an investigation.
  • To confirm the answers you gave us in a recent survey.
  • To provide you with information about a prize you’ve won or any compensation for your participation.
  • To ask for your permission to use your personal information for a purpose we did not explain for you when we collected your personal information.

When you participate in our surveys, we may ask you for your personal opinions as well as demographic information such as gender, age and family. Personal data processed has a purpose linked to the survey you have been invited to. It is usually the balancing of interests, the general interest or by consent. If the information we collect is of a sensitive nature such as political views and religious beliefs, we will always ask you for your consent for the treatment in question. Participation in our surveys is always voluntary, and you can refuse to answer certain questions or cancel your participation in a study if you so wish. We will never invite children under the age of 18 to participate in a survey without the consent of its parents.

The right to process personal data

JEM Analytics has the right to process the personal information needed to fulfill our client’s legitimate interests or to perform a task in the public interest. JEM Analytics also has the right to process your personal data if you have given consent to the treatment.

Confidentiality of responses and contact information

We compile your answers from a specific survey with responses from all others who participated and reports this compilation to our client who commissioned the study. We never report your individual answer, along with your personal information to third parties. We would never sell, share, rent or otherwise deliberately reveal your name, address, telephone number or email address to our clients, other market research companies or anyone else. Only in the following cases, we may share your personal information to third parties:

You ask for or gives consent to share your personal information and individual responses with a third party for a specific purpose. In the rare but possible case when JEM Analytics must disclose information for legal or regulatory reasons to authority.


We work hard to keep your information confidential and do whatever it takes to protect your information, both when you send information and after that we have received it. You have the right to be informed about the information that is stored about you. We shall endeavour to respond to you with the requested information within 30 days after we receive your request. If it would not be possible to give you the information, we will provide you with a written explanation as to why.
